Our therapy sessions provide a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore and work through their challenges. Individual Therapy Services are offered to individuals 18+ via telehealth (video or telephone). The practice will accept Medicare, most Medicaid, and commercial plan assignments.

Employee Assistance Program

What is EAP?

An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a voluntary, work-based program available to employees and their household members. It offers confidential assessments, short-term counseling, referrals, and follow-up services to employees dealing with personal or work-related problems. The services provided by EAP are free of cost to the employees.

How Do I Access EAP Services?

If you want to find out if your workplace offers Employee Assistance Program (EAP) benefits, please get in touch with your Human Resources department. They will provide you with a number to call to speak with an EAP Specialist. The Specialist will either give you a list of EAP providers in your area or help you arrange an initial assessment with a specific EAP provider.

EMDR Intensives

EMDR Intensives will be offered to clients in packages of 3-6 hours of therapy.  These packages will not be covered by insurance and will require an initial deposit to schedule the time and space, as sessions will be held in person only.  Intensives are appropriate for clients with restrictions in their therapy schedule, who have a primary therapist, and who would like to use an intensive to supplement the work with a primary therapist.  Critical Incident Stress Debriefing

Corporate/organizational level services are available for CISD or Disruptive Event management. CISD is a crisis intervention process implemented in case events disrupt cohesion or workplace performance. Such events may include robberies, deaths, or layoffs. The main objective of the process is to provide education and guidance to the staff affected by the crisis event.

Renewal Life Counseling has partnered with over 20 Employee Assistance Programs to offer brief, solution-oriented therapy, organizational training, and on-site support for disruptive occurrences such as robberies, layoffs, deaths, and fires. We aim to engage with smaller organizations to extend the same level of assistance for isolated incidents and long-term support.

Training packages are available. 

Clinical Supervision

This service is offered to LMSWs in SC working toward LISW-CP certification. 100 hours of clinical supervision, academic or continuing education in psychopathology, psychodiagnostic, and ethics, and 3000 work hours are required over a 2-4-year year.  To schedule a 30-minute consult for this service, send an email Contact Us.
